According to TuTiempo, the 30-year average would be 22 days at Orly airport, ranging from 14 (1986, 2002 and 2008) to 40 (1983). In France, thunderstorms often follow the SW-NE diagonal. Mountainous areas will be stormier than lowlands, though I don't know what range gets the most.
About 25-30 days according to the BOM map. Not sure how accurate it is though, because the period of record is only about 10 years. An alternative map I have suggests that the total may be a little over 30 days.
This number is not enough for my liking, I would prefer 50+. Unfortunately not much of Australia gets this many.
Going from the maps on the Met Office site it says 14 days for here, but the maps are from the 1971-2000 data sets, so I imagine it may actually be a little higher...
We get a about 17 thunderstorm days per year on average here in Bremerhaven, but this varies significantly from year to year.. can be as low as less than 10 and in another year more than 30.
But compared to other parts of Germany, the North Sea coast is less prone to thunderstorms, Munich e.g. has about 30-40 days with thunderstorms on average.
