This weekend is gonna be crazy with a cold front pushing to gulf states and Canadian High Pressure dropping in with cool dry airmass.

But GFS says Sunday afternoon dews in the 40s??? #Doubt! Would be a rare moment for end of July here.

North winds so maybe its true.

2pm July 29, 2017 Dew points.

Dew point departure from normal for the hour.

Current Surface map to get an idea why its happening. Cold front down to Gulf states with a strong Canadian High Pressure over the Mid West

Quite muggy here. I think the 80F on the map is at ESF. DP of 78F at the main airport AEX with temp of 83F.

My Bloomsky PWS says 85F with DP of 82F.

Denver has a higher dew point than Madison right now. DENVER. This is beyond ridiculous.

Everyone East of the Mississippi will get hot and humid this week but then.......... here we go again. Another High Pressure diving South from Canada with a cool & dry below normal airmass.

Check out the dews Friday as the Cold front pushes south and east. Per Latest Euro model.

Then Sunday... WOW! Another comfortable day in the south. Except Florida of course.

A summer to remember? No heat or humidity is getting sustained in the East (northeast especially). In and Out with multiple breaks. Still lots of summer left though.
