Chicago much warmer summers
Chicago warmer autumns
Chicago warmer springs
Chicago winters bring the annual mean temperature down, but I like winters
Chicago sunnier by around 1000 hours
London might have less precip than Chicago but our precip falls in large quantities over short durations... I wonder how many days a year London has with trace precip?

The warmest station in London is warmer than the warmest in Chicago. London gets 140 days with trace amounts, and 106 days with 1mm or more, but rains for less than 5% of the time.

Which station are you referring to, and using what measurement? Mean temps or maximum.
Also, Midway is not the warmest station in Chicago. In terms of average max temps suburban stations are warmer in all seasons aside for winter. In terms of Mean temps lakeshore stations are warmer

Greenwich, London Weather Centre and St James's Park are all warmer than Heathrow. London Weather Centre and St James's Park have an annual mean around 12.0C, Greenwich 11.6C.

Warm in terms of Mean temps but not in average highs correct?
The UofC has an annual mean of 11.5C and an annual max of 15.9C. It's only 2 miles from the lakeshore. Midway airport is 10 miles (O'Hare about 12 miles)
Average highs are 15.4C at Kew Gardens, 15.3C at Greenwich, 15.2C at Heathrow. Unfortunately the data isn't public for LWC or St James's Park, but I would expect them to be around 16C as the winters are much milder in the centre.

Does the London Weather Center have 30 years of data? Weatheronline only goes back to 1996
