Summer there is about as bad as a Houston winter...negative average highs?! F is an understatement, saved from 'Hell on Earth' status by its above freezing 'summers'.

D+. I like cold weather but that's just too much. May through September look good, but the rest is probably more than I could take year after year.

Winters are colder than ideal and it seems a bit dry. April through October aren't bad though.

Perfectly liveable. Yeah, if you have good heating and lots of warm clothes to wear. (I do, but that's not the point. the heat is intolerable to some - as is this cold to me for physiological reasons).

-33 degrees? Can't even imagine it. That and there are no summers here so it gets a big fat F!

At temperatures in that range the scales are similar (-40°F = -40°C)
