No sun today in SW WA either. It did warm to the 50s and the rain stopped. So, it was still a good day to get outside even with the clouds.

Yesterday, dark clouds, chilly, damp, nighttime rain. Today, dark clouds, chilly, strong winds kicked up. Spring isn't here yet.

Anybody getting some wind? There's just been thundering wind outside and occasionally my whole trailer will shake back and forth. My canopy collapsed in the last snow and today the entire cover blew off. Well, that saves me the trouble of trying to get a shredded cover off. But, hoping I'm not jinxing myself here, at least the power is still on and that's a huge surprise.

Anyway, I'm off to put out the garbage for tomorrow's pickup and disconnect the water. I don't mind the wind but I sure hate when it gets this cold at night.

Roaring wind last night, rain, and this morning we had a dumping of hail, but that's melted. Generally soggy, chilly and overcast is theme. Typical February.

It snowed HARD for about 8 minutes a little while ago and now I'm looking at a fiery red/orange sunset. Wasn't expecting either today, that's for sure...

Any photos? I would enjoy seeing the Seattle sunset. I think was a crazy weather day across the state.

It sounds like we all had a taste of old man winter's final grasp on spring, some more than others. While we didn't get snow in Vancouver, there was something sorta resembling it for a brief moment, maybe sleet? Nothing stuck to the group. It rained hard and then we caught several very beautiful sunbreaks. One right after work which I enjoyed and another during sunset. It was definitely a wild day which brought back memories of Colorado living a mile high+ on the Continental Divide where you can literally experience all four seasons in one day.... almost any time of the year. lol

Sunny, then windy, then dark clouds, rain, sunny, windy, then heavy hail, more sun, then dark clouds, power outage, darkness, power back on. The critters are confused, especially the wild birds, who thought it was spring!

Yes, a fun couple of days. We too lost power in the windstorm from about 4:30-7pm Sunday, then snow on and off all day yesterday. This morning it's 31 and there is still a dusting of white on the lawn and cars. Meanwhile, the flowering cherry trees in the area are blooming.
