I appreciate this! Not only do I not like them landing on our land, I am often discouraged at all the fireworks that wash up on the beach for weeks after the 4th.

We just need to find better ways to celebrate this holiday.

So again I ask...what is green fireworks? When you say you don't want fireworks pollution in your area...are you saying other areas are okay to 'pollute'? Kind of like NIMBY?

Being green sometimes starts with how we treat our own back yard.

I read somewhere that Bainbridge Island was going to do the drone "fireworks" this year, like what was done at the Olympics last year. However, I cannot find it officially online.

Both Poulsbo and Kingston on the Kitsap Peninsula will have fireworks shows on 7/3 and 7/4, respectively. Both will occur on barges over the water (Poulsbo in Liberty Bay and Kingston over Apple Tree Cove [Puget Sound waters]). Port Gamble used to do a fireworks show on the 4th over Port Gamble Bay, but I cant find info on if they'll be doing it this year, too.

And, for anyone else, this may be helpful. Note, this is for Kitsap County, not Jefferson or Clallam counties, but I wouldn't be surprised if they follow these guidelines, too: https://www.kitsapsun.com/story/news...th/1278809001/

Sorry for not giving you the answer.
There are really no green fireworks other than the lights shows.
I figure if they are blasting them off it might be worth watching.
I normally wake up just before 4:00am to go to work so the chances of me staying up late are slim.
You nimby statement is pretty spot on though.
There are certain things I don’t care for but will respect their rights but am not wanting to have it next door to me.
Things like contained hazmat, prostitution, drug stuff and yes fireworks.
Trying to be as green as possible is something I’ve been doing for at least 10 years.
Am I perfect?
No,but just trying is a good first step.
Every year it actually gets easier.
Thanks.
Andy
