Last year we had a really early spring that lasted all through summer and fall. It was a really good stretch. Maybe we'll get that again.

After a great week, (dry, cold, windy) rain returned today.

I'm booked to San Antonio sun in next 2 days, will return to PNW later in spring. (When Blue bonnets are done, and in time to mow)

A week of wonderful calm, dry and mild weather has just ended.

Funny,. To me it is eary spring. Heck rode my bike to town got groceries.was.hot.and sweaty with out cold hands or feet. The ground is not frozen,.playing in the dirt,.running the garden hose,.robins and hummingbird's, some.flowers.blooming and nice.sunshine all day yesterday.
Most importantly, we are gaining over two minutes of.daylight per day know.. Yahoo! Longer days from here on out!

Its spring... No.complaints of perma spring from me..

Sorry...but those complaining are.spoiled.and.should try living in northern states east.of the rockies to get some perspective.

I am happy the climate is not "perfect,".or.we would be overrun with people.like California, or worse yet like Florida or Arizona.. Yuck!!

This has been a very mild winter, to be honest. We've had a lot of sunny days this season, and temperatures have been at average or above-average where I am the majority of the time since about November (when we had that brief cold snap). Honestly, I really find myself wanting more winter.

what gray? Are you like the people who say they haven't seen the sun in weeks when it's been actually sunny 4 days of the week. I can't remember such bright winter in western WA before. Enjoy it while it lasts.

It has been gray & dark every day for 2 weeks. You obviously do not live where I do. Ever heard of microclimates??

There is your solution, move to one of the sunnier microclimates. We had several days of sun here in Sammamish, and in Seattle too, after the fog lifted.

Didn't you get that one day of sun this week? Or was Sequim stuck in the fog bank yet? Fort Worden park on the tip of PT never made it out of the fog.

Yes folks the inversion event had the rain shadow area fogged in while everyone else got nice weather. It has been very dark, and before that we got a direct hit storm out of the west, while Seattle sat in the rain shadow! To make matters even worse, a convergence zone set up after the storm and gave PT even more rain.

So yes Sunny Sequim, has been pretty dark, TPS is not nuts.. . I think New Years was the last time the sun was seen for some of the rain shadow area.
