Pretty self-explanatory question, I think. What are the options for cable/satellite TV, as well as high-speed internet in the PA/Sequim area?

Most people in the area seem to use Wave Broadband for their internet/cable TV service. A Google search will bring up their page to allow you to compare package options.

I switched from Wave to Direct TV a couple years ago because Wave is very limited in their programing and seems to have more outages. I wanted more sports channels and C-Span2.... so Direct TV offered what I wanted and Wave didn't. Broadband I use Century Link.

If you do use Wave for internet, be very sure to check your actual speed. Some of their techs will pass along old equipment and you may end up paying for high speed when you aren't actually getting that. In fact, it's a good idea to check it before the tech leaves.

The problem with getting the internet may not be your equipment it may be the lines coming in from the street are not capable of handling high speed internet.

Not in my case. It was the equipment. The field guys keep different types of equipment on their vehicles and some of it recycled from other customers.... if you don't test it and require that they provide the advertised speeds for which you are paying, you could easily get the inferior equipment.
