None near Astoria that I know of. As for SW WA, La Center has casinos. It's a small town about twenty minutes north of Vancouver, WA.

The ones I know of are:

Plark Place in Seaside

Six Card Charlies in Long Beach

Shoalwater in Tokeland

I think there are also some in the Longview/Kelso area but they are away from the beach.

Like I told paddywagons, La Center would be perfect for you. It's twenty minutes north of Vancouver, WA so your not to far from major towns (Portland, OR is just south of Vancouver). Fishing?!?! Yeah, it's SW WA. There are rivers, lakes and reservoirs all over. Trees, yeah plenty of those too. The Cascade mountains are less than an hour away.

It's a small town so you can relax and not listen to the constant noise of big cities, but you can be in a big city in less than half an hour. One word of warning if you do visit, obey the 25mph sign on the bridge coming into town from I-5. The cops will pull you over in a heartbeat.
