Hi, i moved to MD several months ago, and decided to rent for some time, while i decided where to purchase a place. i live in the THs near manor country club. i would really appreciate any advice about great locations to purchase. i am looking to spend no more than $510,000 - 550000. i found some TH online in the north potomac area. i am open to purchasing either a SFH or TH, but wonder where i will get the best value for my money. proximity to the metro would be a plus. would appreciate any insightful and candid comments about these areas, e.g: is the area in rockville by manor club as good as north potomac; any hidden gems i could consider? etc. i am single, no kids, but would still like an area with good schools, for future planning.
thanks!

For townhomes at that budget, you will have to go with Gaithersburg (King Farms which is near the Shady grove metro - the northernmost stop that is still in walking distance). The problem with parking at the Metro is that they charge you $5 or $6 so walk if you can.

North Bethesda townhouses run in the $600-800k range but a lot of townhouses are in walking distance to Grosvenor Metro.

Default North Beteesda Townhouse

Hey Ani

If you might like a Townhouse in North Bethesda, I have one in North Bethesda right next to the Grovesnor Metro Station.

If you want to speak about possibly making a move, please give me a shout.
