“Officials with the Washington Football Team have been increasing their efforts to build a new stadium and mixed-use complex in Northern Virginia.

According to The Washington Post, the team is most interested in pursuing a domed stadium in Loudoun or Prince William counties. The Post cites five anonymous sources who said the franchise is looking for the Virginia General Assembly to pass a measure that would change the state's baseball stadium authority into an agency that would oversee the financing and construction of a new NFL stadium.”

That seems unlikely and just creating negotiation leverage with DC and PG. There is no reason to move that far away from DC.

This is a very old story and Snyder has been pushing it for years.

He can move his awful organization to China as far as I'm concerned. He should be forced to sell that team.
This coming from a life long Redskin fan. Not with this owner and organization, I'm done and have been done for a couple of years. Have not watched his team perform for 2 years now. Watched every game for 4 decades before then.

I haven't heard from Youngkin just yet, but the 'Redskins" will not find a home in or around DC anytime soon. The new stadium, which the owners of the Football Team want badly, will most likely be constructed on the land that Snyder owns.........I don't see it being built in DC or VA....Maryland has passed on the stadium but Hogan will be gone soon, so.... either way, I don't care. It hasn't been a fun 20 years with this owner...just saying.

Personally, I think THIS season was a disaster, and I am not excited at all for 2022, almost dreading the chatter on sports talk radio all summer! I am more excited about Maryland Football but not holding my breath!
