I currently work in DC and live in the Rockville area. My lease is up at the end of this month so I was considering something cheaper. Can anyone tell me about their experience at Parkland Village Apts or maybe recommend an apartment with a reasonably price 1 bedroom for under $1300 with no bugs or rodent issues?

I was looking at those apartments a few years ago before I brought my place. They have good ratings but I heard they are a little older. The area is also not the greatest especially anywhere near Marlboro Pike. I would try either Ivy Club or Cameron Pointe in Landover. Both are gated, having a lot of working professionals/military, clean, rodent free and are close to your price range. I stayed in Ivy Club, but I've heard Cameron Pointe is a better place and gets you more for the money.
