Looking to buy this 2006 Volvo Station Wagon with 249,000 miles. Model is 70, It has new tires. Body looking in good shape. Price is 1800.00 Car been used by family with children.

that's a ton of miles, but those can run a really long time. make sure you take it to a mechanic before you decide to buy it.

I bought my 2004 V70 for $2200 with 170K miles.
It has 240K now, runs great.
I did blow the turbo up but managed to get a turbo core off ebay for $180 , made and balanced in the UK.

If you look at any of the white block 5 cyls, the important thing to ask is if the timing belt has been done, thats $800 and good for over 100K miles I believe.
If the seller cannot prove its been done then it needs doing.
