Hey All,
I'm a single mom from ny looking to relocate to VA, can anyone help with the following...
What are the best areas/good areas for single parents, if any, what areas do I want to stay away from, or wouldn't be caught dead in?, what are the preschools like? How about rentals, can I get a 2/3 bedroom house or apartment for less than 1200 a month? or am I kidding myself, what is dating like in VA for single ppl in their 30s, most importantly, I want to be in an area that has good access to shops, salons, resturants, schools and parks, in case I don't get a backyard...
Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The rental market here is very competitive and $1200 per month won't get much in Northern VA. That's closer to the pricing of a one bedroom apartment.
