Meant around here in Seattle. Only the homeless teen kids still wear that stuff.

Head downtown and do some eating and shopping. You'll find there are quite a few people with piercings and tattoos who work at AND own some of those businesses. A pierced nose raises about as much interest as pierced ears would.

Lynchburg IS conservative - that's a fact. That doesn't mean that you won't be able to find friends and like minds within the artist community! Sorry - I must agree about the nose piercing. My daughter did that but , thank god, outgrew it when she became a mother. You will find the road easier if you make the concession to let that piercing go. Good luck !!

look curious mama..the city of lynchburg NEEDS people like yourself...its not a big deal about the nose ring or anything...the city needs people who are somewhat out of the L-BURG norm to help the city reach its full potential...to have 70,000 residents with no major interstate is a nice feat...people should take pride in being a "trailblazer" and changing a city for generations to come
