Gotta be Rives Brown.......my good friend, Beverly, works there, we used to hang out occassionally when I was in college.....she and I went to church together.

I grew up, lived on, Sam Lions Trail, right up the hill above the lake.....boy, is it a small world. My parents are now over in Chatmos area on Turner Ashby......

Lord no, not that that's a bad thing....I think they just had a little more $$ than we did growing up..... Right across from the Goodes old place.....1514

Default Reidsville

To northernexposure...I drove through Reidsville last month and the entire downtown area was literally "boarded up". It looked like an atomic bomb had hit the place. The only place that stood out was a chinese restaurant!!
Trash was everywhere and the people who lived there looked like they had seen better times. With all of the textile layoffs this part of NC is not a success story, neither is Martinsville/Henry Co. In my opinion, the state of NC is doing more to encourage economic development than VA. As you know, Guilford County(Greensboro area) is next door.

we too are planning to move to va - either martinsville area or danville. Moving from Oregon. will be retired by then! seems as though real estate is less expensive in msvl.
