It appears after the 'hurrah' of the initial Switch sales (despite record sales which dont tell the whole story) Nintendo is back to being lazy again and the fans are back to lashing out against anyone who dares point out Nintendo's slippery legal slope they are in regarding their 'passion' to their fans: https://youtu.be/UKD_wnB9AMU?t=1768 I skipped to my favorite highlight regardless of your personal taste this is the damn truth!

And only YT are you allowed to point out Nintendo's flaws as everywhere else gets you blocked or bumped for 'trolling' yet it's okay to rip apart other companies that try to imitate Nintendo and they don't get blocked and Nintendo fans are allowed to insult your intelligence if you give examples as to why but you call them out on their behavior? INSTANT BANNED!!!!

I personally believe with lockdowns and chip shortages it's only going to get worse for Nintendo I see BOTW2 being pushed back more and more and if a digital crash happens perhaps indefinitely (as this future game will have a digital versoin)
and the way things are looking we are going to have one sooner then later.

This is NOT a scenario I want to happen but I cannot control the elites sadly. I don't have a counter Shiekah Rune to use on them nor do I have a Shiekah Slate though I certainly wish I did. Nintendo fans need to experience another Wii U again as a slap in the face reminder why the Switch was made. No it's not to be a party and phone game machine.

Finally someone who gets what I say. Most Nintendo fans think I'm high on something and they respond like they are high. I don't get it. How come Nintendo fans don't see these worsening economic conditions screwing their company around? They seem to live in an alt world where everything is hunky dory.

I bought a Switch during the lockdown summer of 2020. I wanted to play one game - Brigandine: Legend of Runersia - which was then a Switch exclusive.

The Switch hardware felt so cheap compared to the PS4/XB1, much less the new systems.

I'm not much of a mobile gamer (the iPad does that for me), so that's not a big appeal of the Switch. The docked performance sucks even on something like Brigandine. The Pro controller is a cheap approximation of a last-gen controller.

There are some good games on it, but the hardware is such a limitation that it destroys much of what they try to do.

Nintendo Switch was 2 gens OLD when it was NEW. Now it's even worse and will be like a Victrola windup in a year or two. It seems Nintendo is milking AC for all it's worth. I have tons of DLC ideas for existing games but they insist on being an AC only machine so all we wind up with is rumors and leaks that are worth only .02 cents.

Nintendo may not be able to compete on a hardware basis, but the Switch is so inadequate from a hardware perspective that it greatly limits whatever vision the developers are trying to accomplish.

I remember a time when Nintendo DID care about hardware. Remember when you played with power SUPER power? And even the N64 had some advantages over the PSX with having slow load times where PSX had long load times. Those cut scenes like the jiggy going in and out in Banjo Kazooie was a 'loading scene' disguised as you transition from one 3D area to the next as the level or area has to be drawn in. If BK were on the PSX it would've been a little screen of BK running back and forth probably as he 'grab's the screen behind him and pulls it to the right or something equally cute.

My parents and I personally believe this is what's delaying BOTW2 so much as they realized what they want to accomplish with it isn't doable on the regular Switch so nee to beef it up somehow so we can have those proper open air dungeons similar to Hyrule Castle. Hyrule Castle I bet used up a LOT of Switch resources and why it was delayed once.

I am also willing to bet due to a lot of governments being up in whether things reopen or not also plays a role they don't want to release a big title only for people to be afraid to go buy it due to financial issues/pressure going on. The world is really sick right now economically speaking they just aren't showing us but if you pay attention you can see the writing on the wall.

I don't think the fear is limited to Nintendo either. NON of the big guys showed up at the CES show that just happened yesterday. Only Nivida had anything of importance to say. I sure hope they succeed to pull out of China and build more western world factories but it looks doubtful.
