I can't wait for true virtual reality games to come out! You know its coming..... Games where you wear a full body suit or jumper, and goggles, and are actually "in" the game. The game can detect your movements thru the wireless electrodes inside the suit, and the screen is in your goggles, only it doesn't look like a screen, it looks like the game environment. You're actually inside the game. I just can't figure out how you could keep from running into furniture and stuff..... hmmm. We'd have to have a special "furniture free" zone to play in, and if we go outside that zone the goggles switch to "real world" viewing! Wouldn't that be cool! Ok Nintendo, WII, Xbox.....get on it! Don't forget to pay me my royalties! LOL

You know I was just thinking about this over the past few days and I would very much like to see this on the market, I was also thinking about a game in which you can explore the entire world in virtual reality, go anywhere you want! Use voice commands and a virtual keyboard to do anything, fly like superman without the use of machines or even climb Mt Everest! Hope the game designers make something like it. I may even email Bill Gates...

I think, instead of a "furniture free" zone it would be more like a spherical contraption you climb into where you're suspended with free range of motion. You can move your arms and legs in whichever way you want, walk, run, jump, and swim all without actually moving from the sphere, thus negating the "I ran into my 55 inch TV and broke it! Crap!" factor.

I just hope in my life time we'd get a full virtual reality popular/polished mmorpg game. I sure hope that happens by the time I retire in like ~2045, so I could game 14 hours a day on meds.

I would love to see a game akin to The World like seen in the .Hack games and shows. The usage of a virtual reality headset and a controller/keyboard would be pretty nice.

I think this would be the more feasible approach as it would not require huge assemblies of specific hardware... and thus would be easier to market both to consumers and to investors.

Would definitley be something interesting to see.

I would love to be part of a virtual reality game where you can go back in time. See the world as it was, smells, living conditions, dialect, all the elements of say: the old west or 12 century 18th century... wow, I hope I'm still alive!!!!

Forget the suits, mats, balls, glasses, ect... BCI is the future. You are gonna have complete virtual worlds beamed into your heads as you lay in bed; calling them "video games" is will be like calling today's movies "talking pictures".
