You should of seen my reaction the first time I booted up my first game (Advanced Warfare) on Xbox One. I couldn't tell at first if it was a person being filmed or if it was character model. It was crazy, I instantly fell in love with the console.
PS: Judging by your screenshots, I'd say the PS3 wins hands down (/sarcasm)
Buy the console with the games you want to play. For me, that's the Xbox 360. The list of games I want to play is way too long to think about upgrading any time soon.
Now is a great time to get a PS4 or XBOX ONE and there will be some awesome bundles available on Black Friday.
If you don't think graphics matter, please google GTA PS4 vs PS3 graphics comparison.
I would recommend the PS4 bundle that includes GTA and The Last of us remastered. Both Consoles now have bundles that include 2 games and the XBOX ONE will be $329.00 on Black Friday.
The main reason to upgrade is that they're eventually going to stop coming out with games for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Graphics are definitely better, but that wasn't the biggest selling point for me.
If you're on the fence, just wait until there are enough next gen only games you want to play that justifies the cost.

That's just insane. The One has only been out for a year and you can already get it for $170 less than what it cost on launch day.
The PS4 is a really good console. I would recommend it.
My only complaint is that the DualShock 4 controller feels a little flimsy. So much so that I went ahead and ordered another one from an on-line seller who has them for just $45 with no tax and free shipping. I'll keep the second controller as a backup just in case my original breaks.
I like my PS4, but mainly got it for the new games and d/l content which will be forthcoming. I don't see it as nearly the leap from the 3 as the 3 was from the 2.

Give it time. Remember, the early PS3 games weren't that impressive either.
