Been looking around the net for rentals in Southern Vermont and not having much luck. We need a place that accepts cats and has parking for an RV, good storage such as a garage. Any suggestions???

Whereabouts in Southern VT? There's a shortage of housing in Vermont. With those requirements it may be tricky. Many places won't allow pets (especially cats and dogs). Finding a place with a garage for storage and a spot for an RV may require renting a house. Can get expensive. Your best bet may be to look at the classifieds in the papers around where you're looking at.

If you are looking southeastern Vermont, you can try the Brattleboro Reformer. I believe they have online editions. Craigslist.com is not as popular in the southern part of the state, but you can occasionally find some rental listings there.

Call realtors I'd guess there are some home owners who might be willing to rent although they haven't listed as such. The RV is going to be tough, nobody keeps parking spaces clear unless they are using them for something. Might have to hire a bulldozer to clear a parking area if you are going to move in in winter.

When I moved up here in 2008, I had no trouble finding a rental that took my 4 cats. I was offered several, in fact.

Lots of places offer very good storage.

Your RV will be your biggest problem.

There is a KOA campground in Dummerston that rents RV sites, but I don't know their policies, or even if they are open in the winter. You might want to contact KOA.
