I'm planning a snowboard vacation at Mt Snow this Christmas week. From NY and will be staying in Brattleboro. Mt Snow closes at 4pm. What are some things to do at Brattleboro after 4pm? Resturants? I don't expect excitment, just need some family activities after snowboarding. I'm a family of four with well behaved 4 and 6 year old sons.

Why are you staying in Brattleboro? It is doable but a long ride from the mountain when you have all spent a day of boarding. If I had 4 kids I would in stay the valley. You will be beat by the end of a day on the mountain. Rent a condo or stay at a lodge. You want to go out? Take them down to what used to be deacons den, I can't recall the name now I want to call it the rocking chair, anyway just ask a local about Deacons. There is a whole arcade in there for the kids and then the adults can go have some drinks, get a booth order pizza. You will all be in bed by 9-10pm anyway. There is also a movie theater in west dover, I think they still have candle pin bowling in Wilmington. No need to make the trip into an ordeal by trying to add brattleboro to the mix.
