Hey Folks -- I currently reside in Montpelier and LOVE it. Love the downtown feel, love the friendly faces, and love the walkability. That being said, the housing market here is insane. I currently rent a two bedroom with my partner, but long to own our own home. We know we won't be able to afford a house in Montpelier for many many years, but can't stand the fact that we will be paying rent for all those years.
