I think MRG has the only remaining active single chair in the country. If there's another, it's in Alaska I think.

That sounds about right..the other single in Alaska.

This picture was last Saturday, with quite decent all natural conditions considering no significant snowfall yet! Back at square one for now though! Lots of other people skinning up the mountain last week too.

I have a few photos of the Middlebury campus that I took with my iPhone and would like to post here but haven't figured out how, and even then they aren't as "scenic" as yours.

Kicking myself this morning for not having a real camera!!! This thing was HUGE.... really hard to tell from the picture. It was on lower FIS on Mt Ellen this morning. Just hanging out. I did not want to get too close, so I turned around here.

Well I had to go back and see this moose. She? was practically in the same spot 3 days later. I stood around watching it for probably half an hour and it did not seem to care much about me. It went on eating, staring at me every once in a while. Very cool to see such a huge animal in the wild right near home... it looked like the size of a clydesdale horse or something.

Moose seems to be thinking, "Ah, what's for dinner?"

My first attempt at this picture thread, hayfield near Middlebury taken in July 2012. I was out running and this looked so Sabra Field that I had to stop and snap with iPhone. I really need to take a class in digital photography and improve my picture taking skills.
