My dog has an extra pep to her step. Need more of these days! Makes us feel young.

Currently temps are 10-15 below normal in New England. Surprised some areas without clouds holding at 60s middayin July.

Have no #'s but it was danged chilly overnight (this morning).
Actually slept *under* (rather than atop) my blankets & had to put on longsleeves.
But I enjoyed it being moderate enough temp. yesterday such that I could wear a t-shirt instead of a tank top.
I mention clothing just because that it how I informally measure conditions, by what degree of sartorial coverage is necessary for comfort.

Thanks for re-posting the map here
since I'm not on Twitter & don't see these.
Validates my subjective perception that it was indeed pretty cool last night/this morning.

Yikes!!! Is there any indication the weather heat up soon? I'm coming for a wedding in August, so I hope there will be a late summer, warm spell!

It almost seems like the pattern we are entering is a cool one. I dont see anymore long heat waves. 80s will be the common theme but the latest Euro update keeps us in the 70s until next Friday. But like you said, we might see a late summer warmup..

Another front coming through towards us. Expect rain and storms and then a cool down Monday/Tuesday

Coldest Morning coming up for northern New England is Tuesday morning then again Sunday morning(4th). Otherwise seasonable temps (slightly below at times). No more heat in the works at least for 2 weeks.

Not sure if you guys are following whats happening to the west but I started a thread on it.. Record Cold Air July-August 2013

Today has been nice so far (albeit overcast), and yesterday was really nice, sunny & warm but not hot (80 degrees).

I like this, not too hot, not too cold, and not too humid.
