What is it too hot to post? I love Vermonteers because this thread is only active in winter. lol.

I saw it felt like 100s in Vermont yesterday even Montreal! Dewpoints were super humid.

Gonna stay hot until the cold front end of the week comes through.

I started a thread btw regarding this long heat wave.

Here is the forecast for today. How are you guys dealing with it? I hate it.

Will feel like this.

I turned down an offer of a free AC unit last week, I am hoping the offer-er still has it because I WANT IT NOW!!!!

No, but really, been in the 90's here (Upper Valley) but does not interfere with sleeping at night. I just put a fan on, blowing right on me. Got a tub of cool water I dip into when I need to cool down. Otherwise I sit in front of a fan with a wet cloth dampen my exposed skin. And I get my walk over with first thing in the AM before it hits 70.

I think no one is commenting because everyone has melted.

We put a mini-split in our main living area two years ago and it was the best decision we ever made (we have straight western exposure with vaulted ceilings, aka an oven even in 80 degrees). Everyone I know is suffering greatly right now, with temps into the 90s indoors. The heat is bad enough but the humidity....unbearable.

For those of us who want to travel, jack the humidity up another fifteen percent, and we're in Panama without having to pay the cruise ship fare..... It's win-win!

Among possible reasons people might not be posting much in here as of late:
hot/humid conditions don't lend themselves as well to visual representations, in contrast to winter & extreme cold weather

Haven't a thermometer-my phone's weather app confirms Brattleboro highs temps. have been in mid-90s since Friday
(with no relief until this coming Fri., when it may at last dip into the mere 80s).
Don't have A/C so I:
take frequent cool showers, sit next to the box fan, use frozen ice packs, spritz with water from spray bottle, and sip drink w/ice-cubes.
