[quote=Cambium;50437139]Sounds like you had enough. Good luck with the move. Not sure you needed to go that far north for "seasons" but at least you experienced it. Me? I prefer longer winters and shorter summers so Vermont would fit my needs.

We, like others, came to visit and loved the landscape, the lack of traffic, crime, and clean air. You are probably right that we did not have to come this far north, but it was what it was. I was happy for many years and skied for a few years, too. When considering relocating, you really have to sit down and be honest with yourself about what you REALLY want and what you can really 'deal' with. This will be an interesting evolution!

It's here.. If you guys can wait to Sunday morning to travel that would be best. There will be a break early tomorrow morning but might start icing soon after, then rain, then snow again Saturday night. #Mess

Me too. Feels more natural sort of speaking. Maybe we'll have an early Spring this means. 60s in February? I was getting tired of cold snowy March's. lol

Lol somehow I don't think we'll be in the 60s in February....but yeah, a sunnier warming trend in March would be pretty awesome!!!

I spent a good part of yesterday snowblowing my road so I could get out of my cabin back to civilization to be with my family. And at least an hour everyday all week, often more, raking snow off the roof and shoveling the porches. Makes construction projects a bit hard. I could do without anymore snow after the end of this month.
