I was wondering if anyone could direct me to some nice sights and things to do around the orem area. I have a 3 year old so hiking and anything with cliffs is out! Just some family friendly things to do that he could enjoy with us.

Thank you!

There is a Saratoga Amusement Park on the shores of Utah Lake near Provo. I'm not sure when it opens though.

there is the provo river parkway bike trail that extends from utah lake up into provo canyon. there are actually a ton of hikes that are very good for little kids. my daughter is almost 2 and a half, and she has been hiking in zion national park, the san rafael swell, cedar breaks, provo canyon, snow canyon, and other places (even a civil war memorial in kentucky). she loves it. there are also a good number of parks every here and there that the kids can enjoy. and seven peaks resort which will probably open in a few months.

Trafalga is a family fun center. I don't know if you would consider it a "site" so to speak, but it is a lot of fun!

i have a 7yr 2yr old and 3 yr old they love visiting bridal veil falls! you can go picnic on the grass as well, but right now its cold so a walk to the waterfall and pictures is what we do at this time of year.
