I was laid off 12.31.09. I am on UEI and Cobra Subsidy.
How will this extension ending affect me ? I will find a way to
live without the UEI if I only get my standard 26 weeks (state of ga)
but we really must have the Cobra subsidy. I am confused if I will still
receive the 15 month benefit or not with the changes taking place.

I apologize in advance for my ignorance. However - I need to be prepared for best, worst and most likely case scenerios.

Thanks -

Unless Congress extends the eligibility cut-off dates for the EUC Tiers, when you exhaust your 26 weeks of regular benefits there will be no federal (Tier) extensions available to you.

If Georgia offers EB at the time you exhaust your regular benefits, you may be eligible for those benefits.

Your eligibility for the COBRA premium subsidy will be unaffected, because you qualified for the full program before the original cut-off date. You will still be able to use that 15-month benefit.
