Hi, I'm knew to this board and I figured since I cannot get through to a human being on the phone at unemployment I might as well ask others on unemployment if this has happened to them.

I received my DD check 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday, very normal and had no problems, then I receive a letter in the mail from the labor board stating they need to call me on the 8th to discuss if I had received any payments while collecting unemployment. I found that odd so I just waited til the 8th to receive a call. They called my on the 5th (figures they cant get most things right) the person calls from a private number and we discuss things, she said she sees NO problem in my claim and I should file on the 8th as normal online and then open a new claim after the 14th (since this claim is closing) and I should have no problem, then she said she was looking through some things, said my name 3 times, and hung up. Apparently she lost connection with me. I didn't think anything of it.

Now I claimed on the 8th, thought I would receive a check today it being Wednesday and NOTHING! Is it possible this woman screwed something up? Are they holding my check for someone reason but didn't inform me? Are they just being late? I have never received a late DD before. Anyone going through this or has gone through this?

Thanks

I would get the address and go in person, if possible, to speak with a person first thing Monday morning.
