That should work. At the end of the way, your employer doesn't want a comp case or to get sued for lack of protection while staying open if you would catch it. You can basically claim anything Covid 19 related and get away with it. Especially if it's a big company. They will take the small hit now by paying you chump change, than to possibly risk bad press and a lawsuit later. Occasionally the little man has an advantage. When you do, milk it for all it's worth.
