I think OP making more out of this than what it is. Notifications routinely have been coming out delayed (months later). I don't think there's an issue. It was in reference to a higher WBR and he said he sent in his tax return for 2019 last year.. They're letting him know he wasn't eligible for a higher WBR. Like I said states were required to send notifications regarding it..well they are adhering to that guideline.. just months later. Remember it took them to almost August to start notifying people about sending in docs for a higher WBR. It is exactly what it is.. letter stating not eligible for a higher WBR and if person disagrees he can appeal it. It wasn't in reference to ID check.

scraprsmith, i think you are right.
I worry to much.
I did write back and state that I did not ask for an increase in benefits at the present.
