Good morning

I went on by phone to submit my weekly claim and I answered all the questions correctly and at
the end of it they said please hold to speak to a rep. Obviously no one is in today and the recording said
your claim cannot be processed till I speak to someone , I know good luck to me on getting thru to them.
Has anyone had this problem and do we have a quick fix for this , btw it’s the state of NJ. Thanks in advance

Were you claiming benefits on a PUA claim? or a regular UI claim? Has the claim been payable all along. If so when did you file the claim? I've seen numerous claims become not payable and have been hit with random "fraud checks" and identity verifications. Yes, even if person has been claiming for several months with no problem. NJ has been doing the same thing in last months or so with "new" claims filed. requiring identity verification checks.. requiring additional documentation to be sent in. Yours might have been caught up in this net they cast out.

Also I've seen phone claimers have background noise cause questions to be picked up incorrectly requiring person to speak to an Agent. just another possibility.

There isn't a "quick fix" because only NJ DOL knows why whatever action was taken against your account.

Start dialing first thing Monday morning and keep on calling until you speak with an agent.

You might also get an email or letter from them (eventually) explaining what is going on....
