I have been working and living in California for the past four years. I qualified for unemployment here and am receiving full benefits.
I will be moving to Oregon on June 1st. Will this change anything for me as far as collecting unemployment?
Also, I was making $90,000 per year in California running a restaurant as the general manager. If I am offered a position up in Oregon as a server or something of that nature, would I have to accept it?
also note that the amount you get dosent change neither, i moved from new york to florida while on unemployment, i let them know of the address, but i still kept on getting paid by new york, new york UI benefit amount
also they might tell you to register with work force in the place where your moving to
When I change my address with the EDD, do I "formally" have to let them know, or is it as simple as changing my personal mailing address on my online portal?
i cant speak for california, but in new york i just changed my address in the portal and hit submit
