I work at two hospitals in California, one of them is a federal agency. I'm part time W2 at one hospital and per diem (2 shifts/month) W2 at the other hospital. I also do a 1099 side gig as a critical care transporter where I repatriate patients back to one of the hospitals. This is a 1099 and I get paid per transport. For approximately 1.5 months mid march to end of April, I didn't work that job as the transport call volume was really low and I wasn't needed. In a normal month, I usually work about 4 shifts doing that and make between $1000-1800/month.

I'm wondering if I'd qualify for the PUA? I was still working my jobs at the hospitals but I ceased doing the transports, so in effect I lost that income, though I made it up by picking up a couple shifts at the hospital.

Thank you for any responses.

You're still working, but apply for benefits and see what happens. But if you're making $450/wk or more, you're not qualified.
