So after getting email telling my son that if your payable amount is $0 , don't certify and just wait. Well now just got letter in mail saying to claim benefits for first time on 4-15 , forgetting that i got letter today 4-18 but then says beginning the Sunday after that date. I thought first time certifiers certify on Sunday but i see his SS number not one of the numbers to certify on Sunday . So confused. So not sunday i guess but next time his SS numbers day is whixh is tuesdsy i guess. Again so confused. Letter says nothing about amount or $600. Hes probably not getting regular unemployment but should get pandemic $600. Again so lost. One email says one thing , letter in mail says another. System says another. Pullin my hair out.

what does the online account say? does it show claim amount and WBA? does online account show weeks that are payable? what was claim open date? this was updated schedule as of 4/15. that may change again with new claiming week starting tomorrow. Normally for any week that is payable you can certify any day Sunday through Saturday (for the prior week ending Saturday). Normally for NJ the first time you claim it's 17 days (a Wednesday) after your claim open date which is a Sunday. And the first time you claim it's usually is for 2 weeks and then weekly afterward. BUT things aren't normal with the system overloaded thus why they implemented the schedule by SS#s and it has changed several times over the last month.
