Good Morning,

Hope everyone is safe at home with that being said trying to get unemployment has been challenging to say the least. I live in new jersey and was laid off shortly before the pandemic started. I started collecting for about 3 weeks then I got another job. I worked there for 5 weeks then I was laid off due to the pandemic. I went back into unemployment online updated all of my information including the new employer. I then submitted the claim. I received a claim number so I thought all was well. now when I go to check my status it tells me the last time I received payment which was the last week of February. the recording then says I have to speak with an agent because of the lapse in my claims. I have tried to call go online everything possible and I cannot get thru. Please help me out I cannot get any response online the phone email.

So basically you reopened your claim again? i've seen in the past people have had to call in person to get them to have them do something on their end to "activate" the claim again. I know in NJ this is the case usually when sitting out for DQ weeks for simple misconduct. People were always told to call versus try online because UI worker had to do something on their end to start the claim up again.
