So as this nightmare continues, I have a question. I did file for my UI due to Covid
I did certify for two weeks. I got paid. All was good
I have an active claim till 3/2010
I have 26 weeks of UI benefits
My question is I had this notification to certify for WE 04/11.
So I did.
Today I check and is in the process of getting paid
Then it said I have no more weeks to certify and to check on 4/26
Our systems have had a lot of glitches. Disqualifications. Re opening a new claim and so on. It's impossible to get through EDD
So I am think I should wait till the 18th and hope I can certify for my 2nd week
And it also show first week certified . Second week obiously has nothing.
Our systems keep updating. And yes I also got the extra 600
If the system doesn't let me to certify on Sunday then I am sure it's gonna ask me to re open
Anyone has had the same or similar issue ? Thanks

In CA, you certify every other week. If you certified on the 12th for the week ending 4/11, you would not be due again until the 26th.
