Question guys. I recently got back paid for 9 weeks. None of which was the $600 payment. I recieved this backpay Wednesday after I was told Monday that I was paid out.

My question is how long before I see the $600 payments? Should I call them on it? Should I be patient and wait? Just worried because I didn’t receive not 1 $600 payment.

I haven’t received any of the $600’payments either. I’ve attempted to contact them via email but have been receiving automated responses. I have been on UI prior to Covid and am pretty sure we are covered under PUA for the additional funds as well.. Not sure how much longer I will have to wait to see any extra payments in my account.

No you don't need to waste your time calling and clog up the phone lines. $600 payments are running behind by a week. They are paid separately from your regular UI benefit. Normally the $600 payments are hitting the following Monday or Tuesday after the prior week was certified and paid. to the best of my knowledge they have been double paying $1200 on some claims to catch up people on the back weeks they are owed for the $600 a week of FPUC. Your claim is proceeding like it should be.

Thanks for the reply. Ok you’re saying my claim is going as it should, when do you think I should see the money. I was paid for 9 weeks already.. how’s that work if I’m behind at least 4 $600 payments?

My guess is you should see $1200 next Monday or Tuesday. And probably another $1200 the week after until essential you are current and running the normal one week behind for the $600. Several people I know who applied 3/22 and were weeks behind on FPUC had the first payment end up being $1200 (as a matter of fact just this past Monday for week ending 4/4 and 4/11). I don't think NJ's archaic system can handle more than a "double payment" at a time. I will keep you posted on what hits their account next Monday.

I think you may have answered my question. I am filing for my NJ UI benefits for the first time today. The statement I received did not have the $600 included in the weekly benefit rate. But I did get a separate email telling me I qualified for it. So does the $600 FPUC show in a separate statement?

It will be a separate payment from your regular UI payment. Not sure how it is reflected in your online account. Others who've received it already may be able to comment how it shows up in online accounts.

On the last question when certify are you revive benifts for any of these. Are you receiving or have you applied for a pension or other retirement pay from any of the employers listed below? PUA is among one of my employers. I clicked no. Did I just screw myself out of 600 a week?

I would mark No since you have NOT applied for a pension or other retirement pay. Why would you think you would mark yes? And why would marking no make you ineligible for the $600 a week? I think it is just a way for NJ UI to delineate that your wages were pulled from PUA sources.
