Hello I was recently laid off from my job of just under 6 months a week or so ago on 8/19/16.
I have already filed for UI on the 22nd and was wondering what to do next?
I have been applying for jobs around me and keeping a record of them for the labor board but not sure what else i should do/be doing.
Any help or advice would be awesome.
Thanks
Ps. I'm in New York.

I've been laid off a month to the day today.
Still haven't received my first payment from unemployment.
But on a better note I got a job today!

If a mod or admin could close this thread that would be great.
Thank you.
