Hi I was wondering if their was a delay in NJ for unemployment? Contacting someone is as useful as watching paint dry. like how do you know when you'll get your prior weeks claimed, like the credit they say it is? I don't know. First time ever on this which sucks but things happen.

Depends on why you lost your job. If your story and employer's story do not mesh, it takes a while. Best case in NJ, you might get paid three weeks after applying. Otherwise, more commonly, five to six weeks, possibly longer. If NJ wants an interview, for sure, there will be a wait. Keep claiming.
