The letter states
The claimant was required to provide information about his eligibility for benefits. He failed to provide the requested information. The claimant failed to respond to the department's request for information regarding his termination

The letter has a mailed date of 6-10-14 but I spoke to the adjudicator 6-11-14 regarding the reason I was terminated. Do I need to appeal this or will there be a different decision letter coming to me from after my phone call.

Does it say you are disqualified for benefits? If so, you must appeal. You only get one shot, and once that window closes, it's over. Never pass on your appeal rights because you think things might fix themselves. If you get a follow up letter with a granting of benefits, you can cancel your appeal, but you can't do an appeal if you wait too long.

Also, be leary of the language. If you were fired, that is all you are required to say. It is not your responsibility to provide any details in regards to a firing. That is the employer's job.

Is there a reason you would believe a letter dated 6/10 would supercede a later phone conversation of 6/11???

If you have the name and direct line of the adjudicator, call him/her to set your mind at rest. I dealt with a WI adjudicator a few years back who was very accessible by phone - and quite nice.

I have the direct number for the adjudicator. I was wondering how she could make a decision on 6/10 if she didn't speak to me till 6/11 and stated she would be mailing me her decision. The decision letter mailed 6/10 denies benefits
