I have to agree with this because when I was on UC the last thing on my mind was going on vacation especially when I knew my time to find a job was running out. I just don't know how someone who is on unemployment can mentally enjoy a vacation when they have to come back home to the same issue which is "finding a job", But I guess some people can do it but would have been very difficult for me.

^^^ Maybe you should read the whole thread before leaping onto the bandwagon. The OP has already paid for his vacation and did so before he was laid off. The question he's asking is simple enough and he's perfectly amenable to not collecting UE for that week, just wants to know how to go about it in his state.
