I wish they'd put America in a movie where she pranced around in tight jean shorts and a halter top.

Me too! We need to see more real curvy voluptuous women rather than sickly looking skinny stick figures.

Another example of an attractive woman on TV right now, and how a woman should look, in my opinion, is broadway actress Marissa Jaret Winokur, who is now on Dancing with the Stars. She could also prance around in tight jean shorts and a halter top anyday in my opinion:

Ugh, why did Henry have to come back? Go away, Henry. It's Betty and Gio now. A real couple, not a fairy-tale one.

Glad to see Naomi Campbell guest-star. That's one uber-supermodel.

America is a beautiful young women! When I watch a show or movie with normal sized women I tend to feel good about myself, I'm not fat, but most TV shows and movies make me feel like I should lose weight if I want to look really good. I'm old enough (thirties) and confident enough to ignore those bad feelings, but so many younger women and teenagers struggle with self loathing if they aren't stick thin. It's sick.

I know exactly how you feel, I go through the same thing. A lot of times the feeling is subconscious, I don't even realize that most actresses make me feel bad until I watch something where normal women are featured and realize I feel good. I'm also in my thirties so I have had time to understand my feelings, young people haven't figured it out yet, they just want to look like skinny actresses.

I also benefited from parents who put little emphasis on looks or weight. Many of today's mom's pass on body loathing.
