We don't watch a lot of network tv but I'd have to say, for me, Fear the Walking Dead takes the cake for the most annoying characters week in and week out. Every episode, at some point, I walk away from the tv swearing that I'm just about done with the show .......yet every week we come back for another episode.

Man, the thread is on shows you watch despite annoying characters, and it didn't take very many posts before people just posted annoying shows. That they don't watch.
Typical.
Barry on The Goldbergs is an entirely stupid and pointless character.
Cam and Mitch are a terrible couple on Modern Family. And possibly just bad people.
None of the other shows I have have particularly offensive characters.
This is not currently on regular tv but as soon as I saw this thread topic, my mind immediately went to Gilmore Girls. Whew! There were quite a few super-annoying characters on that show but at the same time, they mastered the art of being dear to the viewers although irritating.
Regular viewers of the show or of its reruns will understand.
Gilmore Girls: I cannot stand Lorelai. She drives me absolutely crazy.
The Walking Dead: Hate Rick with a passion. Worst character ever.
