I tried to watch 'Ringer' but it just didn't hold my interest. I found the first episode confusing, not well directed, and just plain boring.

I also tried to watch 'Scandal' but it just didn't hold my interest. I didn't like the way the scenes moved. I also could not stand the annoying graphics/sound between scenes. You know what I'm talking about? It hurt my ears. I find it presumptuous that the lead character can call the president on a whim because she has something over him. I think it could work but I just didn't get a good vibe from this show.

Intentional Talk.

I really tried to like this show, but Kevin Millar is just too annoying. It seems overbearing enough in studio, but get him around current ballplayers, and his "fraternity" mode kicks into gear and he seems to go overboard in making Chris Rose look more inferior than he usually does.

Mad Men
Downton Abbey (only lasted about 10 minutes with this one )
Boardwalk Empire
The Wire
The West Wing
Sons of Anarchy
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos

...to name but a few. They sounded good on paper but they either bored me to tears, tried too hard to be "edgy" and/or had zero likeable characters to keep me tuning in.

"Ringer" I didn't try. "Scandal" was not all that bad actually. The story line, and why she can call the President did actually end up making sense.

I am not able to handle "Touch". I love Kiefer Sutherland, watched "24" religiously. Hated "Touch". Tried a couple of episodes and just wasn't able to like it.

Mad Men, in my opinion, is not supposed to have likable characters. LOL I love it, although it took me a couple of episodes to start liking it. only continued watching because of a couple of actors whom I love, so I decided to give it a honest try. Love it now.

I agree with "Touch" as well. I tried to watch 2-3 episodes but just couldn't stay with it.
