Damm, the Nanny is on 9 times a night every night it seems but I guess it's doing well so they can atleast reduce the number of airings. As for Sanford and Son, it's been on TV LAND since 2003 and it's no longer funny. When does another show replace Sanford and Son??? 2020?

omg-I am so over Nick and TvLand's line ups. Wish they would bring back Murphy Brown,Coach,Designing Women,The Waltons, the older Roseanne's,Mary Tyler Moore
for now the line-up is the worst it has ever been.
Was Sanford and Son ever funny???
And I hate, hate and despise Fran the Nanny.

N@N never gave me a chance to get into Murphy Brown because they snatched it off the air so fast
Maybe the purchasing rights to those shows are cheap. Who knows? I used to like Sanford and Sons years ago when it was first on tv.....but it feels really out of date now.

Probably has to do with the song royalties
At the beginning of each show there would be some awesome music from like Aretha,Gladys Knight, etc and that always seems to cause problems w/syndication. Same with The Wonder Years.
I bought every Murphy Brown season I could find.
When I was growing up the lineup was Mr. Ed, Doby Gillis, Bewitched, Patty Duke show, Green Acres, etc one episode of each but somewhere around the mid-90's they started doing this marathon shows back to back to back. They've gone through the Cosby's, Fresh Prince, Family Matters (although I think this one's coming back) Roseanne and now they're on to the Nanny...I'm sure before long it will be replaced by another sitcom which they will show over and over and over and over again.
