For anyone who has recently made the drive between Dallas and Tulsa, are there any construction hotspots on HWY 75, 69 or the Indian Nations? Last time I took that drive there was a lot of toll gate construction going on and I took a wrong turn and ended up going back to Henryetta and looping back around.

Any input is appreciated.

I took the northern half of Indian Nation (from I-40 to McAlester) in September and the toll booth construction was completed. I don't believe there's any construction on 69/75, yet.

There us construction on US 75 just north of mckinney. Two of my last three trips up that way experienced 15 ti 30 minutes at 0 to 10 mph. Be wary of when you hit this stretch. us 69north of atoka is a rough, pothole mess with heavy truck traffic. Not a pleasant drive.

The long term plan, so I’ve been told, is to eventually have a bypass around Atoka and the other small towns so that the highway can be limited access all the way from Dallas to Henryetta. The next phase would be Tulsa to Henryetta which would require a bypass around Okmulgee. With growth in south Tulsa County I think that we’ll see the highway upgraded but probably not all the way to Okmulgee anytime soon.

Calera us a bottleneck south of Durant. It's been that way forever. Three lights including one at casino. Definitely needs to be bypassed. The congestion in this area makes it higher risk.

There are plans to build overpasses through Calera and at Choctaw Road.
