Tucson - steaks
steak restaurants near Tucson, AZ - Bing Local

I like McMahon's steakhouse, although I heard Daisy Mae's is pretty good.

Go hiking in the Sabino Canyon area. It's beautiful. It's in the northeast corner in the Catalina foothills. There is also an airplane museum in the southeast (Pima air museum?). The Titan missile silo museum near Green Valley is also interesting. There is a park in central Tucson that you can walk around, play tennis, etc. I used to live there for four years but lived in the nortwest side and haven't gone much into the older parts of Tucson except to visit an uncle and aunt.

In Sedona I haven't gone to swanky restaurants. But there are all sorts of hikes you can do. You can get a good walking workout. You drive to a location, then walk and shoot photos, and walk more and shoot more photos.

My favorite place to visit in Tucson is the Sonoran Desert Museum which is really a zoo.

As far as Sedona goes, shopping for the wife has to include Tlaquepaque.

Well, on the up to Sedona there is an outlet mall there (Anthem Outlet or something) but it's not that big (I've seen bigger so I guess it's all relative). There's also a cute little shopping area in Sedona - expensive foo-foo stuff but I like the area (it's all Spanish colonial-looking). Starts with a "Til" and I think ends in a "que" but I can't of how to spell it. There's also some shopping on the dowtown strip. There's a BEAUTIFUL church there, too, that is a MUST (I'm not religious and was taken aback by this). Names are escaping me today but google "Sedona" or "visit Sedona" or something and you will find a lot of stuff. HAVE FUN!!

the church in Sedona is called, I think, Chapel of the Holy Cross....it is a must-see even if you have no religious beliefs....Tlaquepaque is the shopping area described above and it is a must-see, too....go for a hike outside town somewhere....go down to Red Rock Crossing on Oak Creek for the famous classic "Arizona Highways" view of the red rocks....drive carefully up there....very touristy....will be much cooler than Phx....don't know about restaurants

in Tucson, the Pima Air Museum is very good and the Desert Museum is a must-see....walk around the U of A, go see Sabino Canyon for a hike, the San Xavier Mission is the classic Spanish mission on the Indian rez just S of town and a must-see....Beyond Bread is very popular with the locals for great sandwiches and desserts - was there a couple days ago and it's better than ever....

google all these specific places for more info....
