We are currently looking at property in Picture Rocks Arizona (near Oro Valley?). Any insight on that area?

We were told the area is phenominal, but land expectations coming from Michigan are a little different from the views of the Arizona folks. And my husband just wanted to make double check.

Also we were told to avoid the Marana are due to bad dust storms?

Also we are looking at the Vail area too.

Picture Rocks is NOT near Oro Valley. Area is a bit isolated from Tucson and can be a decent drive away depending on what are you're in.

Bad dust storms? I live in Marana and can't say they are any worse than other areas of town. Maybe a bit more elevated because of the farming in the area but not noticeably so.

Vail is a good looking area, I have some property down there and I can tell the infrastructure is definitely being improved.

It really depends on how much land you want and what you want to spend. Both areas have their pros/cons.

Picture Rocks, Arizona (AZ) Detailed Profile - relocation, real estate, travel, jobs, hospitals, schools, crime, move, moving...

Here's some info on Picture Rocks. It's west of I-10 and not very near Oro Valley. I live in Oro Valley, and we don't have bad dust storms. It's a really nice area. Vail is also a nice area, south of Tucson.
