Wow, I watched this on Dr. Phil, unbelievably disgusting. Beautiful baby girl killed by stepmother abuser. Child had past possible physical abuse reported to lawyer I think so birth mother could get full custody I read somewhere. Not sure what else was done?? Denial is a powerful thing, people who can't see what's happening in front of them. But, hesitant to assign culpability to anyone but the person who did it. I can only imagine what treatment stepmother ie POS will get in prison...
I follow this family on FB. Lily's mother and grandmother are doing good work in bringing child abuse to people attention. There are so many cases. Most people have no idea or really seem to care that much.

It was heartbreaking to see this mom. Sad case. Beautiful child. Our society has a brutal underbelly that is hard to look at.
